My name is Stephan. When I saw my wife, Robin, struggling to stir stiff sourdough starter with an ordinary spoon, I made her a proper stirrer instead. Made by hand, in our kitchen in the Netherlands.

From our home kitchen to yours.
HappyFields started with one tool. When I saw my wife, Robin, struggling to stir stiff sourdough starter with an ordinary spoon, I made her a proper stirrer. She used it every week, and friends started asking where she got it. So I made more.
I still make everything myself, in small batches, mostly evenings and weekends. If one looks slightly different from the last, that's why.
